We spent last week in Vegas and we had a blast. Give me the dry heat of Vegas over the humid heat of NC any day. My make-up didn't melt off in three minutes, my hair didn't frizz as soon as I left the air conditioning, and I wasn't sweating like the proverbial pig (do pigs really sweat that much?) after a short walk between hotels.
We have a ton of pictures that I'll hopefully be able to post tonight or tomorrow. In the meantime, I'll leave you with these tidbits from our trip: We toured Hoover Dam, saw two of the fountain shows at the Bellagio, attended a Cirque du Soleil show, and oh yeah, a woman was stabbed to death in the lobby of our hotel the morning we left.
Good times...

Post Numero Uno
Well, I was expecting for lots of witty stuff to come pouring out of my brain, but as you can read (lots of witty stuff - could I be more ineloquent? Is ineloquent even a word?), I'm not off to such a great start.
How 'bout I start with the beginning? I woke up to the McHusband asking for help cleaning up the mess that Tucker made. See, poor Tucker's having some GI issues and had it coming out both ends. Yeah, it wasn't pretty, and it sure didn't smell any better. I went home at lunch to check on him and guess what? Same old story except the McHusband wasn't home to help so I was all by my lonesome in my clean-up efforts.
Maybe I need to remind myself how cute and not-gross Tucker usually is.

Yep, that's better. And he smells much better here, too.
