Bronwyn, Mike, and their two boys, Gavin and Braeden, stayed one night with us last weekend. They were on their way to the beach for a week and decided to break up the trip there by crashing with us. It was a quick visit, but a good one and I'm so glad it worked out for them to stay with us.

Gavin found the dogs' food container and since it has wheels, it gained toy status.


Tucker was a little confused by his food moving around, but one thing was for sure: he was gonna go where it went.


We wound down before bed with a little bit of Bolt, which was really cute.


The McHusband found himself a comfy spot using the carseat as a headrest.


While Bronwyn and Mike put Gavin to bed, Braeden and I hung out.




Here's a little video of him playing with that teething toy and just chatting up a storm. (You can hear the McHusband in the background talking to Rick about a bike ride.)


The next morning, the McHusband put his toboggan on Gavin, and he loved it. Never mind that it was already about 90 degrees outside by 10:00 or that he was heading to the beach...




That hat wasn't enough. He ended up in my toboggan PLUS a scarf.




Meanwhile, Braeden and I were attached at the hip. Well, he was attached to my hip. He was 7 months old as of last weekend and he was a lot of fun.
