Critters!

Dorothy worried about lions and tigers and bears (oh my!) We have snakes, oversized moths, and lots of toads. We also have to watch out for the bats that fly fairly low and swoop down to eat the bugs while we're walking the dogs. I'm fine with the bats being in the 'hood, but I don't want 'em in my hair.

The Duchess and the Toad:
































Our resident black or rat snake. We see him a few times each summer and he always leaves a skin behind.
















This moth was HUGE! He doesn't look so bad in the first picture, but his glowing eye in the second kinda freaks me out.
































I've got my fingers crossed that these three are the worst of what we'll come across at the house this year.
