I don’t know when the rules changed, but up until recently you had to have either a Facebook or a Twitter account in order to be on Pinterest, which is “a pinboard-style photo-sharing web site.” But apparently the social media gods have smiled down upon the rest of us and deemed it okay for us to pin stuff. Woo to the hoo!
I was saving a recipe to an online recipe box and a second window popped up inviting me to sign up for Pinterest using either Facebook or my email. Well, I jumped on that as fast as I could before anyone could change their mind about sending the invitation.
Because we were in SC, I didn’t get much time to explore Pinterest over the weekend, but I plan to make up for that this week. If you’re on Pinterest, leave me a comment (or email or text me) so I can follow you. And feel free to make recommendations since I’m a total newbie at this.
So excited to finally be joining the Pinterest club!

Hooray Pinterest! You can follow me. For recipes and anything shopping related I'd recommend clicking through the pin to see if the link is actually helpful/complete/in-stock. Lots of pins are dead end duds and it's disappointing to go back later and realize it.
I'm on there too! Gina Callaway...yes, I check mine too before pinning because a lot of them don't end up working. Bob will say that Pinterest has changed our life (ended the dinner rut).
