This cartoon perfectly describes my Walmart. I have complained about exactly this situation practically since the store opened. I have run in for just a few things and literally waited in line longer than I shopped. It’s very frustrating to see 25 checkout lanes and maybe five of them, if I’m lucky, open and people lined up with their carts full of groceries.
Anyone else experience this same situation?

i experienced the very same thing at our WM the other day... had never seen sooooo many registers and so few checkers!! WAS disconcerting.....
