We put peanut butter in two Kongs (this is the one we have for Tucker) each night and stick the Kongs in the freezer overnight so the dogs have to work a little bit to lick the Kongs clean when we leave for the day. Tucker never misses his chance to help with the process by cleaning the knife once we’re done, and he is very intent and focused the whole time. I’m not sure we’ve ever been able to distract him from the peanut butter, but we have fun trying.
He does patiently wait his turn if Morgan decides that she, too, wants to help with clean-up duty.
Tucker doesn’t walk away from the counter until we’re putting the top back on the jar. That’s his signal that we’re done. And you wanna know how smart he is? He knows which peanut butter is for him and which is people food and therefore off limits. I eat an apple with peanut butter as a snack most nights and Tucker doesn’t hang around while I’m getting it out of the jar. The McHusband might take the whole jar over to the couch for his apple, and Tucker isn’t interested. But put that jar away and get the dogs’ peanut butter out of the pantry, and he’s your best friend.
What can I say, we are a peanut butter-lovin’ household.

Why the towel or rug on T's back? Grammie
I forget why I picked it up from in front of the back door but I did and placed it on him. Of which he had no concern about b/c of the peanut butter. Just thought we'd see what he would put up with... probably a lot more, lol.
Yes, he sees pretty focused!
